Yes, we do subject tutoring. Yes, we also do executive functioning. But we also help with the fascia layers in between - attitude, mindset, and self regulation tools for the more hectic times.

Our Test Prep Curriculum

Our approach is divided into 4 parts. Each one gets calibrated differently depending on the student's progress. We recommend starting at least 3 months ahead of your first official SAT or ACT.

Building a learning relationship

Trust comes first. Students will go the extra mile if they believe in the educator's dynamism and trust that the educator has their best interests in mind. From our unique behavioral approach, to hypothetical decision-making scenarios, to critical thinking exercises rooted in educational psychology, we establish an environment for students to freely learn pivotal lifelong skills.

Concept foundation

Once we know the student and their learning strengths and quirks, we teach the universe of concepts and strategies that are on the test. We give custom problems and start adjusting explanation language and question frameworks based on the student's learning personality. We also have them adapt and apply these dynamic skills in their day-to-day life, so they can sharpen them for the future.

Actualization

Where the rubber meets the road: practice test time! We adjust the teaching approach one step further to account for the pressure of the testing environment, further tailoring test strategies and self-regulation skills to perform under high pressure conditions.

Limit break

Removing self-limiting mindsets and subconscious behaviors. Some need this, some don't. This is where we excavate students' potential that they don't see themselves. For the ones that do, this is oftentimes the last door before entering the 95th percentile + (think SAT 1440 and above) range.
